“ I haven’t been in a few years and so glad we rediscovered Sasafras. The prices are reasonable and the food fantastic. The staff and manager are on top of the service. Great selection on the menu and the kitchen can accommodate my no dairy options ”
“ We are from out of town and made reservations on a whim. It was the MOVE! It was so good. We got the fried pickles, the fried green tomato’s, and the steak nachos as apps. We also ordered the fried catfish, Ahi Tuna, and seafood trio. It was all so GOOD! And you get a lot of money for the price. I also got the Sassatini and it was light and refreshing as well. Service was also quick and our table was ready when we arrived. Would recommend this place to eat at. We are going to come back next time we are in the area. ”
“ I ordered their BBQ Pulled Pork Egg Rolls app along with their signature Stuffed Fried Chicken entree. The app was good but not terrific. I thought there was a little too much BBQ in it and would have preferred more collards & goat cheese. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. The Stuffed Fried Chicken was absolutely fantastic. The filling was rich & hearty blend of ham, spinach, cream cheese and parmesan. It gave the dish a nice hearty flare compared to the perfectly cooked chicken and fantastically seasoned breading. The sides were equally good with a creamy mac & cheese along with perfectly cooked sprouts. Definitely a 5 out of 5. Next time, I’ll pass on the app and give their Peanut Butter Pie a try instead. One of the tables next to me kept raving about good it was. The restaurant itself had a great vibe with a nice outdoor area. It was conveniently located next to a large parking garage, making it very accessible to visitors as well. It's a great place to go before or after checking out Falls Park. ”

“ A perfect balance of elegance and southern style cuisine. Their chefs really know what they’re doing and perfected their craft. What really stands out for me is that none of their fried dishes are greasy at all and don’t leave you feeling heavy and sluggish. Their Fried Chicken is light and crispy with the chicken flavorful and moist. They have some good bartenders working there too. Great drinks. ”
“ This place is awesome! The food was great, the staff were exceptional, and downtown location was perfect. This reminded me of Magnolia's in Charleston (which I love). The side salads were fresh and tasted great. The mains were very tasty, and my wife's beef dish (Boeuf en Croute) was something special. The waiter was great about subbing out potatoes for risotto for her. My chicken dish was flavorful and super fresh. To make this experience even more awesome, the Creme Brulee was out of this world. Didn't except this level of service, taste of France or overall experience but glad I came here. Highly recommend if you in Greenville. ”

Everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was courteous. The atmosphere was a little noisy but it was because it was packed. The aura in the room was friendly and convivial. Recommend highly. ”
